Porsche is recalling the 2019 Cayenne and Cayenne S because drivers are seeing a delayed image of what's behind the SUVs. Porsche hopes a software update will fix the problem starting in April 2019.

Porsche vehicles have a software brake pad alert system that warns you when the pads are getting too thin. And it works. Sorta.

The system displays a yellow alert warning message when the pads are worn out, but will never display a CODE RED when the pads are dangerously thin. The recall affects over 14,000 vehicles and will begin in April 2019.

Porsche is recalling the 2017-2018 Panamera because software problems are disabling the electric power steering.

Owners say the problem can be momentary or intermittent. Either way there’s no steering around it – a sudden loss of power steering while driving is less than ideal.

Porsche didn't provide details about why the software fails, but Panamera dealers will update the power steering control units with updated software.

Brake lines on the front axles of 112 Porsche Panamera vehicles are unprotected, exposing them to water, corrosion, and eventual brake failure.

Even an $850,000 car gets recalled from time to time. Guess next time you'll have to pony up some serious cash if you want parts that don't just fall apart.

A missing c-clip in some 2011-2016 Porsche Cayenne SUVs could allow for some brake pedal mayhem.

The missing clip can cause the pivot pin to move and the brake pedal to dislodge. From there, a driver will need to find unique methods of applying the brakes without a brake pedal.

The c-clip stands for circlip, but I'm thinking it could also stand for crap. As in, "ahh, crap --- my brake pedal just fell off."

The Porsche Macan is one hot car. But thanks to some defective fuel lines, it might get a little too hot if you know what I mean.

Porsche is recalling nearly 59k 2015-2016 Macan S and Macan Turbo vehicles after customers complained that gas was leaking inside the engine. Porsche says the recall is "purely precautionary" and hasn't released any information about specific build dates or when the recall will begin.

Porsche says they will notify owners soon. In the meantime, I'd suggest not parking inside a closed structure or near a fireworks shop.

The automaker says a manufacturing error caused an alignment problem that puts the front and rear axles out of whack. Considering those are your only axles, you probably want them, uh ... in whack?

The recalled cars were a 2015 Cayenne Diesel and Cayenne S built between November 26, 2016 and November 27, 2014.

The 2011-12 Cayenne Hybrid is leaking has from the fuel injector system. That's not very eco-friendly, although it one approach to using less gas (I kid, of course)?

The problem is two-fold:

1. The leak can be so bad that some owners have said they can smell the gas inside the cabin
2. And gas leak can quickly turn your car into a hybrid-kabob

You know your year is off to a bad start if you're one of two people with a car recalled for alignment issues.

That's right. Porsche has recalled 2 (yes, two) vehicles in the entire US of A. The vehicles, one a 2015 Cayenne Diesel and one a Cayenne S, were built between 11/26/14 and 11/27/14. I guess they don't build a lot of those things.
