Porsche is recalling the 2017-2018 Panamera because software problems are disabling the electric power steering. Owners say the problem can be momentary or intermittent. Either way there’s no steering around it – a sudden loss of power steering while driving is less than ideal.

Porsche didn't provide details about why the software fails, but Panamera dealers will update the power steering control units with updated software.
